Announcing a New Project: Portals to Heaven

For the last two or three years I have been shooting photographs for a new artist book project titled Portals to Heaven. Not quite enough photos for a book yet, but I have made a short video you can see on YouTube. Click here to view the video.

Visit Abecedarian Gallery in Denver through June 16 where you can see my work with two other book artists, Alicia Bailey and Shu-Ju Wang. The show is called Perpendicular and includes the three of us who do artist books as well as framed work that hangs on the wall. You can see three photographs from my Lakeside series there as well as all of my current artist books. Strange coincidence here: Abededarian Gallery is a book arts gallery founded by my friend Alicia Bailey and it just happens to be located in my old studio space in the Santa Fe Arts District. And Finally, New Work

Finally, a new artist book! It has been a wild year. House renovations, gallery openings, moving and other madness have left little time for being an artist. But finally I am able to find time to get back to work. Casa Mila is the one book I actually created during this crazy year. But, I am just now finding time to produce the edition. The photographs were taken in Barcelona atop Antoni Gaudí’s Casa Mila apartment building. The structure is a miniature flag book. Find out more here.
